After some blurry images on an ultrasound machine... we saw fingers and toes... jawbones and a spine. Our doctor seems to think everything is clear and called out all these body parts we haven't heard of. We just nodded and smiled in aw of the wiggling little creature that is undoubtedly a baby. Then came the answer we've been waiting for. And the answer was... 80% a girl, 20% a boy. In the 80/20 world we live in, that was good enough for somethings but not this! We later talked to a friend who also went to the same doctor and had a similar dilemma. Apparently, our doctor never gives absolute answers. Maybe that's all doctors. So we've settled with the statistics... 80% will have to do. We're due for another ultrasound in a couple of weeks. Until then, we'll keep thinking up girl names that go with Yang.
Baby Yang is about a pound in weight and 8 inches in length. Fluttering can be felt in the stomach after a meal or a sweet snack. I'm feeling a lot of energy these days... sure hope it lasts.
