Summer Obon

Yukata, a summer kimono for little girls to wear to summer festivals like Obon festivals.  Olivia loves dressing up so this was a fun activity for her.  She also enjoyed watching people sing on the street.

Little Dancer

Ballet, Jazz, Hip Hop, or just creative movements... Olivia is ready to jump in.  Her favorite class of all time is dance.  She practices at home and the class is pure fun for her.  This is a time to bottle her up...

Monterey Bay Aquarium

Magical underwater creatures in beautiful Monterey Bay.  Olivia's favorite fish was the "Moon fish".  The deep sea feeding event was the highlight.  Only a video can show Olivia's excitement...

Really Letting Go

Olivia started a little toddler dance class called Small Fry Dance Club in San Mateo on Saturday mornings.  This was a drop in class - meaning the parents don't participate.  She is on her own basically for 45 minutes.  Olivia loved the class, the outfit, and the time with the teacher - Ms. Jana.

Letting Go

Right around this time, 2 yrs 3 months, Olivia seems to have learned to let go of her mommy and daddy.  She started to play on her own in Little Gym class, trying to brush her teeth on her own, and independent in general.  A little early for this?

Olivia loves music and group settings.  If there's people dancing, she will join in.  We need to take her to a dance class soon!
