Xmas 2010

Rain rain go away, come again another day... We spent a week in San Diego with 5 of the days in our timeshare.

Olivia can be amazingly still when getting her face painted.

Santa Claus picture?  What Santa?  Olivia would not even go near the chair he sat in.

Gobble Gobble

Gobble gobble... gobble gobble... flap those arms and you have a little turkey.  Olivia did some cooking in her play kitchen then put on her super girl cuffs.  Turkey dinner was great, we were all in bed by 8pm!

Gilroy Gardens

Gilroy Gardens here we come...  our first trip in November.  Olivia enjoyed the little kiddie rides.  Her favorite rides were the train and the racing cars.  She enjoyed playing all day and was pooped by the end of the day.

Foofa Halloween

Foofa is a character from Yo Gabba Gabba.  A cute female flower bubble character who's pink and happy.  Olivia loves to watch the show (at least this month) and so that was her character for Halloween.   It took a while before she was willing to put it on.  But once she had it on, she was ready to jump. 

Pumpkin patch in Half Moon Bay.  She's 32 inches tall!  Her favorite part was the train ride and sticking her head out of all the cut outs. 

Olivia 19 Months - Social Butterfly

When she's in class, she says hi to everyone.  When she's with her friends, she pretends she older than she is.  She babbles as if she's part of the conversation.  Little Olivia is a social butterfly.

Annual Trip to Hawaii - Kauai

Olivia enjoyed her first real vacation in Hawaii... with sand and beach!   Her grandparents came along too making the trip extra special.

Favorite activities included getting dunked in the pool, running around the hotel, learning to use the elevator, chasing birds and roosters, and eating shaved ice. 

During the trip, she learned how to say... Wait!

Play Play Play

The curious minds of a 17 month old.  Exploring and playing with everything in her way.  We had such a great time with Olivia at the San Jose Children's Museum.   Well,  except when we were at the water exhibit, she was pretty persistent on not wearing an apron and started a tantrum.  Could this be the start of toddler tantrums?

Olivia 16 Months - Learning to Talk

Olivia's is starting to talk.  Amongst her favorite things to say:  no,no,no (whenever) ... om,om,om (when she is hungry) ...moon, star, ball-ball...  She's been enjoying some time at home in her "pool" as well as hanging out with her buddies.

Olivia 15 Months - Farm Animals Fun

The San Mateo County Fair was happening and coincidentally, Olivia is just learning her farm animals.  Moo moo, oink oink, baaa baaa....  She had a blast looking at the animals. She even got on a pony ride!

Olivia 14 Months - Visit LA

Olivia loves her stuffed animals...the bunny, the monkey, kung fu girl, you name it. She likes to hide under her little friends and jump out.

 







For Memorial Day weekend this year, we went to visit Olivia's grandparents in LA.  We always loved the food in LA but Olivia just got acquainted with it.  Yum yum yum...








 We also made a trip to the LA Zoo.  It was so crowded and hot that Olivia's favorite part was going to the shaded playground. 

Olivia 13 Months - It's a Jungle

13 month old Olivia is starting to talk (more like babble) and loving all things related to animals. She knows the cow, kitty, and alligator and imitates their noises. She pretends she can read and loves to cuddle up in her own little chair with a book. When the weather is warm, she loves going down the slide in the playground. Weeee!!!...

Olivia Turns One

Olivia turns one! How quickly this year passed by. Olivia has become a spirited little girl who loves crackers, making funny faces, and imitating everyone around her. At her birthday party, with a cracker in hand and dressed in a hanbook, she danced and smiled for everyone. I don't think she even knows how to be shy. Wonder who she got that from :)

Olivia 11 Months - Becoming a Toddler

What is Olivia's first word? Olivia says two things constantly... mama... and dada... Until 11 months she said both indiscriminately. Now we ask her "where is dada?" and she'll point to daddy and say dada... How fun!

Olivia is slowly turning into a toddler. She shrugs when you ask her a question. She gets annoyed when you take too many pictures. Here's one at her first In & Out experience... She gives you smoochie faces when she feels like it.

10 Mos 2Wks - Little Friends

Olivia loves other babies, she is so fascinated by their little faces, little feet... Olivia just wants to play. We had several get togethers with friends and their little ones. Look at Olivia and her little friends. Don't they look like celebrities faced with paparazzi's? There were about 5 cameras trying to pointing at them.

Olivia sure enjoyed the day with Maddy, Megan, MacKenzie, and Addison...

10 Months - Happy 2010

Olivia turns 10 Months old... not quite walking yet. She hates wearing her boots so this was for the split second we were able to keep them on.
