3 Weeks - Growing by the Minute

Olivia is three weeks old! She is growing bigger by the minute and have outgrown the newborn sized diapers and a few of her newborn outfits. Her face is getting rounder too. And maybe she's growing another chin. We already miss the tinyness from her first week.




In the last couple of weeks, she has had lots of uncles, aunties, and little friends come visit her. She's loving it! She's starting to make lots of noises too... humming, cooing, and screaming (during fussy time). Her fussy time is from 6-10 pm. This is when she cries and screams uncontrollably. The only thing that works in calming her is a hairdryer or bathroom fan. She has also found her thumb to suck on...



When not fussy, Olivia is usually sleeping...

First Smile

Olivia is two weeks old and she's smiling away. She likes to smile in her sleep but sometimes, she'll smile at her mommy and daddy. Like in this picture...

Since Olivia is born the year of the Ox, one of her favorite aunties got her a stuffed animal ox friend named Oxy. Let's see how fast Olivia outgrows Oxy. She's already regained her birth weight and enjoys being fed ten times a day. She's so tiny now, everything looks so big.

More firsts this week... first swing ride, first outing, first bath.

Happy One Week Birthday

Thank you everyone for your warm wishes and parental advice. We're still learning how to be parents but starting to get the hang of it. We got six hours of sleep last night :)

Olivia is one week old! The last seven days has been filled with new discoveries and Olivia seems to have changed every day. Here's some pictures of her from this week...

Welcome Olivia!

Weight: 7lbs 13 oz
Length: 21 inches

Birth Details We went to the hospital on March 9th at about 1pm with hopes Olivia would arrive that day. The day progressed into the late evening, then in the early morning of March 10th, Olivia was born! Everything went smoothly, mommy and baby are doing well.


Baby Details Olivia is a calm baby, loves to sleep, eat, and play.

Life as a Family Baby Olivia just came home today. Daddy and mommy are catching up on some sleep.

Week 38-39 Waiting Game

All the work is done, the nursery is stocked, the bags are packed, car seat is ready, the hospital is approved.... so all that's left to do is wait.

My belly has stopped growing bigger and my weight has been steady. Weekly visits to the doctor now. During the last check up, on March 4th, the doctor said I was "ready" - 1 cm dilated and partially effaced. Exciting!!!
