9 Mos 2 Wks - Merry Christmas

Olivia spent the week of Christmas in the Los Angeles area to see her grandparents. It seems as if she has grown up from a baby and into a kid overnight. Stranger anxiety has set in and her curiosity is through the roof. She sits at the table with us for meals and demands food from our plate. Olivia went to see Santa and here's what happened...

At Santa's Village...

Checking out the bakery...

Finally, get to sit on Santa's lap...

Wait a minute... who are you?

Get me out of here!!!

A few minutes later on the carousel...

Merry Christmas everyone!!

9 Months - First Christmas Tree and Cheerios

Mesmerized by the shiny ornaments and staring at her own reflection, Olivia loved the Christmas Tree. It was Olivia's first Christmas in our new home. For the first time in a long time, Christmas is officially back! Just need to get some presents for under the tree...

Olivia also loves Cheerios. Loooooves Cheerios. She would eat them non-stop and grab 4 or 5 at a time. We took some pictures of Olivia and her favorite snack.

8 Months 2 Wks - First Thanksgiving in Our New Home

The last couple of weeks were fascinating for Olivia. We moved from the home she was born in to a new home further north and closer to San Francisco. We moved the day before Thanksgiving and have our first family meal on Thanksgiving. You can see Olivia helping to unpack here...

Olivia is thrilled to see her Uncle Peter and Uncle Ray. She enjoyed her turkey and wanted to eat her wishbone. Yum yum!!

8 Months - Can't Sit Still

Sitting on her own, crawling, and pulling to stand, Olivia is officially mobile. She zooms across the room for all things new and interesting. And when she's tired, she'll plop down and sit for a while. We got her a "play yard" but it's really not big enough...

7 Months 3 Wks - Halloween!

Olivia was "Olivia the Pig" for Halloween. Her mommy made her costume to match her little doll. It's like having two Olivia's! Olivia enjoyed looking at herself in the mirror... look at that big smile. Too young to trick or treat, Olivia strolled through downtown Millbrae and caught glimpses of the other dressed up kids.

7 Months - Precrawling

Olivia is a big girl now... a bigger car seat, high chairs, standing in her crib ... and some pre crawling. She's moving non-stop these days. I get tired just looking at her. All this exercise is causing her to lose a little bit of her chubby cheeks. Pinch pinch!

6 Mos 3 Wks - Yummy In My Tummy

Olivia started solids a couple weeks ago... she's not liking it much but is gradually eating more everyday. She's drinking water from a cup too.

She's even gone to a restaurant... and contemplated what to order!

6 Months in Maui

Olivia turned 6 months during our first family vacation to Maui. She spent most of the time playing in the pool, sitting on her own, and sipping some iced cold H2O.

Enjoy the slide show!

5 Months - Mouthing

Olivia is full of energy... and wants to put everything in her mouth! These pictures are hard to take these days since she just want to touch and "mouth" everything. Besides the mouthing, she is over the rolling and getting stuck phase. Daddy already misses going in to rescue his little princess. Olivia is rolling over and back, she's even sleeping on her tummy. The other day, she slept from 7pm to 7am and we had to wake her up. We were worried she is sleeping too much... there's no such thing right?

Look at Olivia trying to sit... almost there... (she can sit unassisted for a few seconds at a time).

4 Months 3 Weeks - Venturing to SF

Spent a nice afternoon at the Aloha Festival in San Francisco. Olivia enjoyed the nice weather and checking out the scenery too.

4 Months 2 Weeks - Rolling and Rolling

Rolling from back to tummy.... Olivia loves to roll. The only problem is she can easily roll from back to tummy but she can't seem to fall asleep on her tummy. So every morning at 5am, we'll hear her whimper because she is stuck. Daddy graciously flips her over so she and the rest of the house can get some more sleep:)

4 Months - Exersaucing

Olivia is 4 months old! She's got strong head control and her little feet can pretty much stand her up. So we got her an Exersaucer...it's almost like a jumper except the wheels lock and there's lots of toys all around. She loves it!! It's supposed to provide some exercise for the little one. Ha... at her current weight, she'll need some. We're going to the doctor's tomorrow and our guess is she is 17+ lbs.

Update: Olivia is 18 lbs 4 oz and 25.75 inches long. 95%tile for weight and length.

3 Months 3 Weeks - Mommy is back at work

Olivia is adjusting well to her mommy going back to work. She spends her days with grandma and grandpa learning to roll over and playing new toys. She enjoyed an afternoon at the park for 4th of July. She loves the warm weather and the greenery.

3 Months 2 Weeks - Teething... Not

Olivia has her hands in her mouth most of the day... sometimes both hands, all fingers. After a few crazy nights of painful crying we were stumped. Later, we found a few bumps on her gums. Poor girl is biting anything and everything that comes her way. Could it be teeth? We later found out they weren't teeth. Whew!

She stays happy though through her toys and play dates. She's certainly becomming a big girl now. So much that her mommy is going back to work next week. Let's hope she handles it well.
