Boy or Girl We Still Don't Know... Week 16

It's week 16 and no more sickness anytime of day. Yay!!! It actually started getting better starting week 14.

We won't find out the sex of the baby for another 4 weeks. Anticipation is killing us... A friend suggested getting a Doppler machine to hear the baby's heart beat. It's on the way...

Weight: +/- 0lbs

Look How Big I am! Week 13

Baby Yang is a full 5.5 cm in length! Heartbeating at 160/minute.

You can see little hand scratching the eye already... something Woo likes to do. Baby's profile is developed but the neck is still too week so it's being supported by the chest. The ultrasound lasted a full 30 minutes because the doctor couldn't get the right angle. Baby Yang responded to coughing and moved around till we got the right angle.

I'm going to start tracking my weight against pre-pregnancy.

Weight: -2 lbs

Babymoon!

In celebration of our second wedding anniversay, we had planned a trip to Maui for some R&R&R. It also happens to be week 13 when evening sickness was still at it's peak. Baby Yang was functioning in PST rather than Hawaiian Time. This is a typical day during our stay in Maui:

- 6am - Wake up
- 6:30am - Breakfast
- 8:00am - Swimming and Snorkeling
- 11:00am - Rest
- 12:00pm - Lunch
- 1:00pm - Rest
- Rest of the day - Rest/Sleep

What Happened to Weeks 9-12?

Morning sickness, afternoon sickness, evening sickness....

Let's Find Out... 8 weeks

A week later, back at the doctor's office... Relief!

One little precious Baby Yang:)

And the morning sickness begins...

First Ultrasound at 7 weeks

Baby Yang's first ultrasound at 7 weeks. So small... that the doctor thought there could be two of them.

Hmm... could there be another one there? Need to go back the following week for another look.

We're Expecting!

We're expecting! Baby Yang is due on March 11, 2009.

We're so excited and can't wait to meet Baby Yang. Thanks to all our family and friends' support. It's been a tough few months of morning sickness but things are back to "normal" (as normal as can be).
